are professional threads designed to revitalize the skin and reduce wrinkles and skin folds. The screw type is a single thread spirally wrapped around the cannula. Durability of the effects up to 1.5 years. The unique nature of the needles consists in the combination of two active substances in the threads - PCL polycaprolactone and PLLA polylactic acid.
How do PCL and PLLA threads work?
Polycaprolactone (PCL) and polylactic acid are synthetic polymers that dissolve completely in the tissue after a certain period of time. The idea to use PCL and PLLA threads in aesthetic treatments was born in Korea and quickly gained popularity around the world. The treatment involves inserting threads under the skin (in selected areas) using a very thin needle. After insertion, the needle is removed and a dressing is applied to the skin. The applied treatment creates a specific scaffold around which the body begins the process of neocollagenesis (production of new collagen fibres), stimulation of fibroblasts to increased elastin synthesis and the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid.
